报告人介绍:

    姜云鹏,副教授,院特聘研究员,主要从事非均质材料细观力学、柔性复合材料和多功能微结构的设计和分析研究。先后入选日本学术振兴会JSPS研究员,教育部“新世纪优秀人才” 和江苏省“六大人才高峰”人才计划。主持国家自然基金、江苏省基金以及各类高层次人才项目13项。迄今发表学术论文80余篇,其中SCI论文40多篇,总引用次数>480次。

报告摘要:

    The amorphous alloys do have many excellent mechanics, physics and chemistry properties, and are considered to be the next generation advanced materials. However, their inherent zero ductility seriously impede their wide applications in the related structural engineering. In order to improve their tensile ductility at room temperature, designing and introducing a novel micro-deformation mechanism in these alloys becomes a challenging issue, which should be of scientific significance and technological interest. As one of the main toughening measures, amorphous alloy matrix composites have a wide designing range and toughening prospective. However, the latest studying on the inherent micro-deformation evolution is far away from an essential understanding, and still staying in the qualitative stage. This presentation will introduce the inherent toughening mechanisms in such heterogeneous composites, and exhibit the quantitative relationship between the microstructures and the tensile behaviors by using theoretical model, experiments and numerical modeling together. Finally, some novel microstructure patterns are developed in the composite system to gain a marked improvement in the tensile ductility of amorphous alloys.
