应我校机械结构力学及控制国家重点实验室袁慎芳教授邀请，香港理工大学Zhongqing Su副教授于2015年11月12日至15日来我校学术访问，并于11月13日为我校师生做题为“Initiatives for Enhancing Guided-wave-based Structural Health Monitoring: from Linear to Nonlinear, from Distributed to Dispersed Sensing”的学术报告。航空宇航学院副院长沈星教授主持了此次报告。
Su教授于2004年获得澳大利亚悉尼大学博士学位，并获得2004年获得澳大利亚联邦博士后研究员奖。2011年破格晋升为香港理工大学机械工程学系副教授。现主要研究方向包括结构健康监测、弹性波传导、智能材料与结构、传感器及传感器网络技术。在过去的几年里，Su教授发表了超过100篇的SCI期刊文章，SCI被引用次数已超过3000次（H-index为27）。现为Elsevier旗下Ultrasonics副主编，以及Structural Engineering and Mechanics，Structural Monitoring and Maintenance，Coupled Systems Mechanics等相关期刊副主编。是SCI期刊Smart Materials and Structures以及Journal of Mathematical Problems in Engineering的客座主编。Su教授于2011年获得香港理工大学“校长特设卓越成就奖（研究类）”，2012年荣获结构健康监测领域著名奖项“结构健康监测-年度成就奖”（Structural Health Monitoring - Person of The Year (SHM-POY) Award）。
