Abstract: In this presentation, the brief information about Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev will be given.After that, the main directions of the science-research activity of the Aerohydrodynamics department will be considered, main experimental and computational possibilities will be presented, and the information about present possibilities in the framework of the BRICS cooperation will also be suggested.
Biography: Professor Liia Makarova is an Associate professor in the Aerohydrodynamics Department of Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N.Tupolev. She received her Ph.D. degree from Kazan National Research Technical University in 2008. Professor Makarova has published over 20 scientific articles in the field of The Mechanics of Fluid, Gas and Plasma, and participated in more than 20 Russian and international conferences. Now she is the Deputy Director of the Corporate Institute and Director of the German-Russian Institute of Advanced Technologies in Kazan National Research Technical University.
