报告摘要: The safety and reliability of engineering structures cannot be over-emphasized. Along with it is the ever-increasing need for effective and reliable damage detection methods. In this presentation, two damage detection methods based on guided wave and structural vibration are introduced. 1. Laser ultrasonic technique employs pulse laser to generate the Lamb waves in the structures, achieving long-distance and non-contact Lamb wave measurement. Novel signal processing methods have been developed to extract the Lamb wave propagation characteristics, which can be used in damage imaging and fatigue property evaluation. 2. The “pseudo-excitation” (PE) approach was recently proposed to provide a damage detection framework by evaluating the damage-induced perturbation to the local equation of motion. However, the method requires very dense displacement field measurement within the inspection region. To tackle the problem, a new damage detection method based on virtual element boundary measurement (VEBM) under the “weak” formulation framework is proposed. Experiment is carried out using a cantilever beam, in which a 10-metal-core piezoelectric fiber sensor array is embedded. Results demonstrate that the proposed method not only enhances the noise robustness but also allows a significant reduction in the number of measurement points.
报告人简介:张超,讲师,2016年在南京航空航天大学获得博士学位。一直从事结构健康监测与无损检测技术的相关研究,以第一作者发表期刊论文8篇,SCI收录6篇,EI收入2篇。申请国家发明专利4项,已授权2项。
