应我校航空学院沈星教授的邀请，英国诺森比亚大学沈翔（Shen Shaun）高级讲师于2021年10月22日在线上做了题为“Surface Curvature Effects on the Aerodynamic and Aeroacoustic Performance of Aerofoils”的学术报告。报告介绍了翼型曲率对气动噪声性能的影响，内容丰富、精彩生动，对我校相关科研工作具有借鉴作用。同时，沈翔老师还就有关问题与我校师生进行了讨论交流。

报告人简介：

Dr Shaun Shen is a Senior Lecturer of applied aerodynamics in Northumbria University, UK, with expertise in aerodynamic design, flow control methodology, wing and aerofoil optimisation, experimental fluid dynamics testing and multidisciplinary optimisation. Dr Shen received the PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London in the UK and conducted his research at different universities and institutes in China, Japan, and the UK. Dr Shen has led or participated in more than ten aerodynamics-related research projects, including the EPSRC project UK Turbulence Consortium, the Royal Society project “Aeroacoustics of jets and blades”, etc. He is also a member of Engineering Professors Council (EPC) in the UK and the invited reviewer for academic journals including Physics of Fluids, Flow Measurement and Instrumentation, the Aeronautical Journal, etc.
