报告内容简介:
Wireless communication technology has evolved rapidly, and the communications industry has experienced huge leaps from 2G, 3G, 4G to 5G, and is moving towards 6G. Frequency filters based on piezoelectric materials directly determine the operating frequency band and bandwidth of the communication equipment, and plays a pivotal role in the communication devices. This lecture, the operating frequencies and principles from SAW (surface acoustic wave) to XBAR (transverse-electric-field excited bulk acoustic wave resonator) and the requirements for piezoelectric materials will be introduced.
报告人简介:
Tomoaki KARAKI (Zhiming CHEN) was born in Shanghai, China, in 1958. He received a B Eng. Degree in Inorganic Material Science from Shanghai University of Science and Technology, China in 1982, received an M. Eng. degree in Inorganic Material Sciences from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1985, received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kyoto Univ. Japan in 1996. After joining Toyama Prefectural Univ. in 1993, his research focused on single crystal growth, preparation of ceramics and films in piezoelectric, dielectric, and ferroelectric fields. Karaki’s research interests include (i) alternating current poling (ACP) of piezoelectric relaxor-PbTiO3 single crystals, (ii) preparation of lead-free piezoceramics, (iii) growth of piezo- and ferroelectric single crystals, (iv) simulation of multilayer SAW devices, (v) characterization of acoustic wave related physical constants in piezoelectric single crystals, (vi) hydrothermal synthesis of nano-crystals and plate-like particles, (vii) research on ultrasonic transducer, and ultrasonic stimulation for aquaculture fishes, small mammals, and mankind.
