Skin friction drag reduction via turbulence manipulating implies a purposeful influence on a very complicated energy exchange in near-wall flow vortical structure in order to improve the aerodynamic and economic performance of high-speed vehicles. The goal of this presentation is to demonstrate the complex unified mathematical approach of semi-empirical turbulence modeling with possibility to take into account both separate and simultaneous influence of such factors as: streamlined surface relief , uniform and intermitted micro-blowing, polymer additives injection and Large Eddy Breakup devices. The applicability of the developed modeling approach will be proved by good agreement of wide range of mentioned above kinds of turbulent flows predictions and the corresponding experimental results. Some examples of practical implementations of the developed theory for perspective high-speed vehicles will be shown.
